Double-body with split pearl-set bezels, the band and the pendant with champlevé and paillon decoration, the hinged spring-loaded back enamel panel painted with a charming pastoral scene depicting the young couple Palemon and Lavinia within a blue flinqué enamel frame with paillon decoration. Hinged gilt brass cuvette.D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minutes and seconds ring. Gold pierced hands. M. Gilt brass full plate double-train with cylindrical pillars, going train with fixed barrel, cylinder escapement with brass escape wheel, plain three-arm brass balance, flat balance-spring, gilt brass continental cock pierced and engraved with initials. Quarter-striking train with fixed barrel and revolving arbor, striking on a bell.Signed on the movement.Diam. 52 mm.
