Outer: double-body with scalloped edge, the bezel with light pink champlevé enamel decoration over a flinqué ground with champlevé flowers, the back with finely painted musical trophies against a turquoise ground within a scarlet flinqué enamel scalloped frame, outer champlevé enameled decoration matching that of the bezel. Inner: double-body, "bassine" form, the back centered with a fine composition of summer flowers painted over a pink ground within a waved scarlet flinqué frame with outerhamplevé enamel decoration, the band pierced and enameled with a foliate pattern in white enamel with four cartouches - one with musical instruments, another with scientific instruments and two with flowers, a large rose-diamond set in the pendant. D. White enamel with early, original Arabic numerals. Gold "poker and beetle" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate, double-train, cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance-spring, gilt brasscock pierced and engraved with foliage, striking via fixed barrel on a bell, repeating on the same bell by tripping the diamond-set button in the pendant.Signed on the dial and back plate.Diam. 49 mm.
