B. Haas Jne & Cie, Genève - Paris, No. 014155, circa 1890.Fine 18K gold hunting-cased, double-face, moon phase astronomical watch with calendar called "independent perpetual calendar" by the maker, made for the South American market.
C. Three-body, massive, "bassine et filets", the spring loaded front cover chased with foliage decoration, the spring-loaded back decorated en suite and engraved inside: Quantième Perpétuel Indépendant - Phases de Lune.D. White enamel on the front with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds, large inner moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands. White enamel on the rear face with black Arabic chapter on the border for the dates, small black subsidiary inner chapter rings for days of the week and months. M. 44,7 mm 18''', nickel-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, gold wheel train,18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring.Signed on the calendar dial, case stamped with maker's mark.Diam. 53,5 mm.
