Louis Audemars, Brassus, Swiss, No. 11587, circa 1880.Very fine 18K gold, half hunting-cased, astronomical quarter-repeating watch with perpetual calendar.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", front cover with champlevé Roman hour chapter and inner minute-repeating watch around the aperture, polished back, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, five minute Arabic markers, four subsidiary sunk dials for days of the week, date, months of the four year leap cycle and subsidiary seconds concentric with phases of the moon aperture. M. 41,9 mm, nickel, "fausses côtes" decoration, 31 jewels, straight line counterpoisedlever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, wolf tooth winding wheels, repeating on gongs through activating slide in the band.Signed and numbered on the calendar plate under the dial, case stamped with maker's stamp, cuvette signed Jules Jürgensen.Diam. 57 mm.
