Notes

Although there are a number of Swiss-made cross-shaped watches, there is only one Swiss patent for cross-shaped movements, No. 30755, registered to Léopold Mathey from La Chaux-de-Fonds on June 13, 1904. Another, No. 45518, was registered to Emile Numa Friez from Besançon, on December 1, 1908.
