Very fine and rare, large, two-time-zone, self-winding, waterresistant, 18K yellow gold chronometer wristwatch with square-button chronograph, register, perpetual calendar with year indicator and an 18K yellow gold Montblanc deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.

Satiné silver with painted radial Roman numerals, outer 1/5th seconds scale, subsidiary "guilloché" dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, the date, the months, the days of the week and the individually adjustable second time zone, aperture for the year. Yellow gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. 4810-100, rhodium-plated, "oeil-de-perdrix" decoration, 36 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, micrometer regulator. A perpetual calendar is a calendar mechanism which, unlike a simple calendar, automatically adjusts to the correct day of the month by accounting for the varying durations of each month, as well as selfcorrecting for the 29th of February during leap years. Audemars Piguet are said to have been the first to produce wristwatches with perpetual calendar and moon phases, in 1924. In 1925, Patek Philippe modified a lady?s pendant watch with perpetual calendar to produce the world?s first instantaneous changing perpetual calendar wristwatch with leap year indication.
