A set comprising five very fine F. P. Journe wristwatches. A. ?Octa Calendrier? F. P. Journe, "Invenit et Fecit", "Octa Calendrier", No. 82/99- 04Q. Made in 2004. Very fine and rare, self-winding, platinum wristwatch with retrograde date, large day of the week, month indication and a platinum F. P. Journe buckle.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, concave lugs, transparent case back with 6 screws, winding crown engine-turned with "cordes de Marseille" pattern, sapphire crystals. D. Off-center, guilloché silver with painted radial Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial screwed onto a brushed and ruthenium-plated 18K gold dial plate, outer concentric ring for the retrograde date indication, apertures for the day of the month and the month. Blued steel "Journe"-style hands. M. Cal. 1300, ruthenium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, free-sprung ?Gyromax? balance with 4 timing weights adjusted to 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring, off-center bi-directional guilloché 22K gold rotor. Dial, case and movement signed, movement also engraved "Exclusive Power Reserve System" and "Precision Chronometer". Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 10 mm.

Very fine and rare, platinum chronometer wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and constant force remontoir, power reserve indicator and a platinum F. P. Journe buckle.

C. Two-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 6 screws, winding crown engine-turned with "cordes de Marseille" pattern, sapphire crystals. D. Brushed ruthenium-plated 18k gold dial plate, at 3 guilloché matte silver ring dial with painted Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes, apertures at 6 for the constant force remontoir and at 9 for the tourbillon regulator under a polished steel bridge, up-and-down indication at 11. Cal. 1498, ruthenium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, 25 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one minute tourbillon regulator with "A"-shaped tourbillon frame and polished steel bridge, free-sprung "Gyromax" balance with 4 timing weights, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring with Phillips terminal curve, constant-force remontoir with an 18K gold wheel and blade spring, controlled by a spinning vane, armed once a second by the force of the mainspring, insuring a steady flow of power to the balance for a more constant rate. C. Two-body, solid, polished, concave lugs, transparent case back with 6 screws, winding crown engine-turned with "cordes de Marseille" pattern, sapphire crystals. D. Ruthenium-plated 18K gold plate, off-center guilloché silver with painted radial Arabic numerals for the hours and minutes, subsidiary guilloché silver dials for the seconds and the 60-minute register, aperture for the double disc date. C. Two-body, solid, polished, transparent case back with 6 screws, winding crown engine-turned with "cordes de Marseille" pattern, sapphire crystals. D. Twin guilloché matte silver chapter rings with concentric radial Arabic numerals and minute rings, offset subsidiary seconds dials on a brushed and ruthenium-plated 18K gold dial plate with up-and-down indication at 12. Blued steel "Journe" hands. M. Cal. F. P. 1499-2, ruthenium-plated, "fausses côtes" decoration, twin independent complete trains set on a single plate, 37 jewels, twin straight line lever escapements, twin free-sprung ?Gyromax? 4-arm balances with 4 adjustable timing weights, shock absorbers, self-compensating Invar balance springs. One of the escapements is mounted on a small platform pivoting around the second wheel by means of rack and pinion to adjust the distance between the 2 balances in order to find the most efficient position for resonance synchronization. The crown at 5 synchronizes the seconds hands. Dial and case signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
