Geneva Clock Co., No. 12820. Made circa 1925. Fine and rare, Art Deco, onyx, 14K gold, enamel and painted on ivory 8-day going clock with the original fitted morocco case signed Gubelin.
C. Rectangular, 14K gold case with striped engine-turned motif, onyx rectangular base. D. Framed by white enamel ring with blue painted Roman indexes, ivory with painted Asian lake scene. Single-cut diamond-set hands. M. Frosted gilt brass, rectangular plates, four pillars, barrel for the going train, lateral lever escapement on a frosted gilt platform, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Case signed by Geneva Clock Co., movement punched JTC. Dim. Height 7.2 cm., width 4.5 cm
