C. Four-body, "bassine", solid, polished, master mark ?FT? (Frederick Thoms), gold hinge and thumbpieces. Hinged silver cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel ?spade" hands. M. 42 mm., (19'''), frosted gilt, half-plate, ring-turned pillars, going barrel, jewels in screwed chatons, counterpoised lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold timing screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, all mounted on Bonniksen 52 1/2 minute Karrusel platform. Movement signed, Bonniksen?s patent number on the pillar plate. Diam. 50 mm.
