Notes

The finely painted enamel flowers on the present watch are almost certainly by the same artist as that on a watch by Bovet sold by Antiquorum, Hong Kong, June 2, 2007, lot 313. The flower paintings by this artist are of high quality and feature flowers less commonly found on these enamels, such as the Arum Lily and Primroses of the present watch.
