Millenet a Paris, circa 1790. Very fine and rare 18K gold, amethyst and rock crystal oval diamond set pair cased watch.

Double body bi-coloured gold outer case with rose diamond set bezels, the back with a chased open work of rose diamond set garlands of flowers and ribbons. Double body gold mounted inner case with cut amethyst back and rock crystal glass, rose diamond set pendant and bow. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Gold Breguet hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, cylinder escapement, plain gold three armed balance with endstone. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In good condition. Dim. 50 x 25 mm.
