Lebet & Fils a Buttes, Swiss, made for the Spanish market, circa 1860. Very fine and large 18K gold hunting cased pocket chronometer with a chain and a diamond set charm.
Four body massive "demi-bassine et filets" case engraved overall with flowers and scrolled foliage, the band chased with a floral decoration. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with gilt Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " fleur de lys" hands. Fine gilt brass 19?three quarter plate movement, 22 jewels in screwed settings, with a going barrel, a pivoted detent escapement, two-armed cut bimetallic balance with gold poi-sing screws, blued steel helical balance spring, free sprung, diamond endstone. Signed on the cuvette and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 61 mm.
