Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case. Gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated August 31, 1897. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer gilt Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. Nickel plated 17" movement, "fausses cotes" decoration, 32 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet ba-lance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Signed on the dial, the cuvette and the movement. In mint condition. Diam. 46 mm.
