Fine gilt brass hour and half hour striking, hour repeating alarum carriage clock with Sevres porcelain panels. Gilt brass "Angles" case, glazed on the back and the top, country maid finely painted on the porcelain side panels. A pastoral scene painted on the porcelain dial with Roman numerals and further symbols of love and fidelity, subsidiary Arabic alarm chapter. Blued steel pear hands. Brass rectangular movement with going barrels, English type lateral lever platform escapement, bimetallic balance, flat balance spring. In very good condition. Dim. 15 x 9 x 8.5 cm.
