Les Frs Esquivillon & Dechoudens (Geneve), circa 1775. Fine 18k three coloured gold quarter repeating watch with a later gold chain.

Double body Louis XVI case, the back chased with a three coloured gold pastoral scene, further palm leaves, garlands and ribbon decoration. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with a plain brass three armed balance, continental cock and polished steel endpiece. Repeating on a gongs by means of the depressing pendant, dump thumb piece on the bezel. In good condition. Diam. 42 mm.
