Andreas Nag!, in Wien, circa 1660. Extremely fine and rare 22K gold and enamel mounted miniature smoked rock crystal oval "chantourne" watch.

Double body oval "chantourne" case, the gold mounting of the cover and the back with champleve enamel-led decoration. Gold oval dial with Roman numerals and black champleve enamelled decoration. Blued steel single hand. Very fine gilt brass full plate oval movement with turned baluster pillars, fusee with a gut line, verge escapement with a five leaf pinion on the contrate wheel, steel balance wheel foliot and fine screwed single foot cock, the mainspring with a worm screw regulation. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 33 x 18 mm.
