Fridlander, Chronometer maker, England, no.25569, bearing the London Hallmarks for 1898-1899. Very fine 18K gold half hunting cased keyless pocket chronometer with a 52.5' revolving karrusel regulator, Class A certificate at the Knew Observatory, with the " especially good" mention for 88.6 marks.

Four body massive "demi-bassine" polished case, the cover with black champleve enamelled Roman numerals around the dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel pear hands. Gilt brass three quarter plate 18? movement with a going barrel, 18 jewels in screwed settings, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with a terminal curve. The escapement is set on 52/ 1/2" revolving carriage. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
