Gregson a Paris, N°10742, circa 1790. Very fine 18K gold and enamel pearl set watch with an diamond set visible balance.

Double body case with split pearl set bezel, a young lady in a garden finely painted on the enamel back, the border set with split pearls. White enamel offset dial with Arabic numerals and a balance aperture (small hair crack). Gold hands. Gilt brass full plate inverted movement with the barrel passing through the back plate, cylinder escapement with a plain brass three armed balance, a star shaped mock diamond set balance set on the balance pivot, oscillate over a polished steel plate. Signed on the dial and the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
