Four body massive "demi-bassine et filets" case, engraved overall with a fine floral and foliage decoration ( slightly worn). Gold cuvette engraved with flowers and with a commemorative inscription dated November 1860. Silver dial engraved overall in a floral pattern, with gold raised Roman numerals, further gold cast floral decoration and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "fleurs de lys" hands. Fine gilt brass three quarter plate movement, 15 jewels in screwed settings, the fusee with a maintaining power, spring detent escapement, two armed cut bimetallic balance with gold poising screws, diamond endstone, blued steel helical balance spring, free sprung. Signed on the dial and the movement. In good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
