B. Haas Jne, Fabricant brevets de S. M . I'Empereur, Besancon, Paris, Geneve, Swiss, circa 1870. Rare 18K gold hunting cased "Mi-Chronometre", with " Remontoir perpetuel" Brevets S.G.D.G., awarded a medal at the 1868 Exhibition. Gold chain with a key and an onyx set seal.

Four body massive, "demi-bassine carrure ronde" case, engraved overall with stars and feathers. Gold cuvette, engine turned on the edge. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Rose diamond set gold hands. Nickel plated 16"' movement, "a vagues" deco-ration, 19 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. By means of a click work, the movement is wound whenever the cover is open and closed. Signed on the dial, the cuvette and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 47 mm.
