B. Haas Frere & C°, Paris - Geneve, made for the Spanish market, circa 1890. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased keyless double face moon phase astronomical watch with a triple calendar.

Four body massive "bassine et filets" case, engraved overall in the Renaissance style.White enamel front dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary seconds, the age of the moon on the border of the moon phase aperture. Blued steel "spade" hands.White enamel dial on the rear face with symmetrical small chapters for the months and the days of the week, outer calendar ring. Blued steel hands. Fine 19" nickel plated three quarter plate movement bearing the coat of arms of the Haas family, 19 jewels, equilibrated straight line escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. The calendar work, set on a plate beneath the rear dial, is driven by the movement by means of a wheel set with a pin. Signed on the case inside the back. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
