Anonymous, Swiss, for the Chinese market, circa 1900. A very fine 18K gold and enamel hunting cased pearl and diamond set keyless minute repeating watch with center seconds.

Four body massive "bassine et filets" case with split pearl edges, the band with a blue champleve enamelled decoration, the cover of blue translucent enamel over engine turning, a rose diamond inlaid medaillon at the center with a fine painted enamelled scene of a young troubadour playing the mandolin for a young lady, further gilt decoration on the edge, the back enamelled "en suite", the portrait of a young lady finely painted in an enamelled medaillon at the center. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic center second ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass 18"' movement, 29 jewels, three screwed settings, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. In very good condition. Diam. 54 mm.
