Paul Buhre, N° 4155, Swiss, made for the Russian market, circa 1896. Very fine 18K gold and enamel hunting cased keyless minute repeating watch.

Four body massive "demi-bassine et filets" engine turned case, the Russian champleve enamelled double headed crowned eagle on the cover, also engraved inside with a dedication dated 1896. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold "pear" hands. Very fine nickel plated 19? movement, "fausses cotes" deco-ration, 31 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
