A Madame Dulles Extra slim astronomical watch No. 1648, sold on 18 December 1928, for the sum of 31,000 Old Francs. Gold keyless astronomical watch with retrograde perpetual calendar, equation of time, phase and age of the moon and winding indicator. Original brown leather fitted case.

Case: 18 ct., three body, Mural style, No.B.1648. Gold cuvette.
Dial: Eccentric, matt silver, signed: "Breguet, No. 1648", with Arabic numerals, concentric month ring with sectors for equation of time, the flyback date and the up-and-down scale, aperture for the phase of the moon with the age on the border . Blued-steel Breguet hands.
Movement: Rhodiumed, 19"', "No. B 1648", the ébauche by Victorin Piguet, with fausses côtes decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance. Blued-steel Breguet balance spring.
In new condition Diam. 51 mm.

Note: In view of the classic design of the dial, following the traditional style of Breguet in using sectors to indicate the various astronomical and calendrical features, this watch is unique amongst its contemporaries. Fitting such complications on so thin a watch represents a tour-de-force.
