A Monsieur J.-J. Guerlain Watch No. 2752, completed on 16 June 1932, sold to the above on 13 May 1953. Gold watch with "grande" and "petite" sonnerie striking, minute- repeating, moon phase and double winding indicators.
Case: 18 ct., two body and three part of quatre baguettes form, engine-turned à grains d'orge, with
reeded band, "No.B.2752". Gold cuvette signed: "
Breguet, No. 2752".
Dial: Engine-turned gold, signed: "Breguet, No. 2752", with Roman numerals on a plain reserve,
small auxiliary dial for seconds with concentric
inverted aperture for phase of the moon, sectors
indicating the state of wind for both going and
striking trains. Blued-steel Breguet hands.
Movement: Rhodiumed maillechort,19"', by Les Fils de Victoria Piguet, two train, with differential
winding, 39 jewels, straight line lever
escapement, cut bimetallic balance. Blued-steel
Breguet balance spring. Grande/petite sonnerie
striking on two gongs with two hammers, strike
selection and strike/silent bolts in the band.
Repeating by means of a small slide releasing the
strike train.
