A Monsieur Sorabji Chronometer Wristwatch No. 3912, completed on 29 December 1938, sold on 7 June 1939, for the sum of 15,600 Francs. Pink gold Gentleman's wristwatch, awarded a " Bulletin de lère Classe".

Case: 18 ct., massive polished, Empire style, with reeded band, screwed bars.
Dial: Engine-turned silver, with painted Roman
numerals + subsidiary seconds dial. Blued-steel
bâton hands.
Movement: Rhodiumed, 14"', with fausses côtes decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement,
Guillaume balance. Blued-steel Breguet balance
spring. Signed on the dial and the movement,
T on the case.
In very good condition.

History: The records show that this watch
received a 1st class Bulletin for timekeeping,
which would account for the considerable sum of
15,600 Francs.
