Buyer and date of sale unknown Wristwatch No. 1539, sold on 13 November 1989. Platinum Gentleman's astronomical self-winding wristwatch with perpetual calendar, phases and age of the moon and power reserve indicator. Original fitted case, certificate and platinum calendar correcting pin with short chain.

Case: Massive, polished, Empire style, with reeded band. Cabochon sapphire-set winding crown and screwed bars.
Dial: Engine-turned silver, with painted Roman numerals + subsidiary dials for date, days of the week, month and the leap year, aperture for phases of the moon with the age on the border, sector for up-and-down scale graduated for 45 hours. Blued-steel Breguet hams.
Movement: Rhodiumed, 12"', "No. 1665", with fausses côtes decoration, 38 jewels, lever escapement, anti-shock system, monometallic balance adjusted for five positions. Flat autocompensating balance spring, gold rotor. Signed on the dia, case and the movement.
