A Monsieur Divoff Watch No. 4265, sold on 14 January 1825, for the sum of 2400 Francs. Gold "montre simple", with two barrels, constructed on the principals of the "gardetemps".
Case: 18 ct., two body, quatre baguettes form, by Joly, No. 250, engine-turned à grains d'orge, the
back with bayonet fixing, engraved with a
dedication on the interior.
Dial: Eccentric, engine-turned silver, signed: "
Breguet et Fils", with Roman numerals on a
plain reserve, eccentric subsidiary seconds and
semi-circular aperture for slow/fast regulation.
Gold Breguet hands.
Movement: Gilt brass, 22"', bridge caliber with
two barrels, each with female winding square
and separately wound, counterpoised straight
line lever escapement with jewelled pallets and
long lever, bimetallic two-arm compensation
balance, with elastic suspension. Blued-steel
balance spring with terminal curve.
