Unusual silver case watch with 'libertine' enamel medaillon. Four body silver case engraved over all with scrolls a n s inhabited foliage, a portrait of Cleopatra in the manner of Huauds painted on an enamel medaillon (rubbed) inset on the opening back, the reverse painted with an erotic scene of a gentleman producing magic out of his hat. Silver champleve dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel poker hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with Egyptian pillars, verge escapement plain three armed steel balance, English style cock, pierced and engraved with a mask and inhabited foliage. In good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
