Very fine 18-carat gold and enamel pair cased pearl set watch. Glazed gilt brass protecting case. Double body case with split pearl set bezel, the back with a very fine enamel painted portrait of the harvest Goddess and further 'champlevé' enamelled floral decoration, the edge set with split pearls. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals. Paste set Louis XVI hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with plain brass three armed balance, continental cock and polished steel endpiece. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
