Very fine 18-carat gold hunting cased minute repeating 'grande and petite sonnerie' clock watch with calendar and special escapement made for the Spanish market. In original fitted case with a spare glass and an extra silver dial with applied gold Roman numerals, inner calendar ring and outer gold floral decoration, engraved overall with scrolled foliage. Massive five body 'bassine et filet' case, engraved overall, including the revers of the covers, the inner bezel and the gold cuvette on both sides, with flowers and scrolled inhabited foliage, the cover and the back with further Cupids and the head of a man. White enamel dial (Willis) with Roman numerals and inner calendar ring. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gilt brass 18"' three quarter plate double train movement with going barrels, duplex escapement, cut bimetallic balance, ruby endpiece. 'Grande et petite sonnerie' train, independant from the repeating train. Striking on gong by means of a slide on the band. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
