Very fine 18-carat gold and enamel hunting cased pearl set minute repeating watch for the Chinese market. Massive four body case, the edge of the covers and the bow set with split pearls, fine painted enamel lady on the cover, a mountain landscape on the back with a sportsman on the foreground. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold paste set 'dessins' hands. Glazed gilt brass 16"' keyless movement, 32 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the red enamel chiselled band. In very good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
