Extremely fine 18-carat gold and enamel watch made for China with a special escapement. Double body case with a pearl set bezel, the back with a very fine Romantic scene painted on enamel, outer 'paillonné' decoration and double row of split pearls on the edge. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Pierced ' fleur de lys' hands. Very flat gilt brass movement, Hessen caliber with the going barrel passing through the back plate, virgule escapement, plain brass three armed balance with polished steel endpiece. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
