Extremely fine 20-carat gold and enamel dumb quarter repeating watch. Double body case, the edge engraved in a Greek pattern, fine painted mythological scene on the back depicting Kronos taking Venus away from Pride and Hypocrisy. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass full plate repeating movement with conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with plain brass three armed balance, continental cock and polished steel endpiece. Striking by depressing the pendant with a thumb piece on the bezel. In very good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
