Very fine and rare 18-carat gold and enamel double face watch made for the Chinese market, quarter repeating on two bells with two automatons. Massive double body polished case. White enamel dial with Breguet numerals (very slightly shipped on the edge). Gilt brass Breguet hands. Very fine enamel Chinese landscape painted on the rear face with on the foreground a three coloured gold chased applied oriental scene with two Chinese automatons striking hours and quarters on two bells, a watermill and further symbols of love and fidelity Full plate repeating movement with inset bells, cylindrical oillars, cylinder escapement and three armed plain brass balance. In good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
