Rare and very fine 18-carat gold and enamel pearl set and diamond inlaid hunting cased 8 day going minute repeating watch for the Chinese market. Massive 'filet grande gouge' case, decorated overall 'champlevé' enamelled, rose diamond inlaid decoration (slightly restored), the edge of the covers set with split pearls, the back with a bird on branches over a blue background. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel 'pear' hands. Gilt brass 17"' keyless, 5 wheel train movement, 32 jewels, with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balancespring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. In good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
