Very fine 18-carat gold and enamel watch for the Chinese market. Double body case decorated overall with 'champlevé' enamelled ornaments, an extremely fine enamel scene painted on the back, depicting a couple and a young boy presenting puppies to their mother. Gilt brass cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel 'serpent' hands. Gilt brass bar movement with free standing barrel, cylinder escapement, plain gold three armed balance and ruby endstone. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
