Very rare and good oval silver and gilt brass watch. Ferme type three body case with applied silver on the band, finely engraved with birds and flowers. A sun dial on the back with a small compass. Gilt brass dial with Roman numerals. Blued steel 'poker' hand. Oval gilt brass full plate movement with 'amphore' pillars, three wheel train, 'fusée' with a gut-line, verge escapement with balance wheel foliot, single foot pinned cock, spring tension adjusted by a click. In very good condition. 75 x 36 mm.
