Notes

The mechanism of the present clock is contained within the center of the minute hand, the Swiss watch movement is powered by a large mainspring mounted within the brass frame holding the movement and geared via an extra wheel in the movement placed where the going barrel is traditionally found. The hands are very lightweight and can therefore be turned by such a small movement and giving the illusion of the hands turning, apparently without a movement.
