Femme Mysterieuse Lahmeyer, Paris, the figure by LSF. Made circa 1910. Fine and very rare, large, 8-day going, bronzed spelter and glass mystery clock.
C. Bronzed spelter figure of a lady in classical dress holding her arms aloft to support the clock, step-molded base with leaf scroll and strapwork decoration, scroll feet with square bases. D. Glass, gilt radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Gilded brass star hands with crescent moon terminals, star in the center concealing the winding aperture. M. 12???, Swiss, concealed within the center of the hands, frosted gilt, bar caliber, 8 jewels, mainspring mounted within a brass casing above the movement meshing with a pinion and extra wheel in place of the standard barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm gold balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator via a slide in the edge of the drum. Dial signed Lahmeyer, Paris, figure cast with signature LSF. Height 106 cm.
