Quarter-Repeater, Triple Date Calendar Swiss, No. 17747. Made circa 1900. Fine, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter-repeating, 18K gold pocket watch with chronograph, triple date calendar and moon phases.
C. Five-body, "bassine", solid, polished. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second chronograph divisions, subsidiary dials for the date, days of the week, the months, the seconds and the moon's age, aperture for the moon phases. Gilt Louis XV hands. M. Cal. 20"', frosted gilt, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, visible chronograph work, repeating activated by a push button on the band.
