Repetition a Minutes Montandon, Locle, No. 14197. Made for the Hispanic market, circa 1880. Fine, minute-repeating, 18K gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets? with floral, foliate and geometric chased decoration with blank cartouche on front cover. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. D. Silver and gold with painted radial Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, outer dot minute track, engraved and applied with a cast gold floral decoration. Blued steel spade hands. M. 18???, rhodium plated, "wavy line? decoration, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band.
