French, 18th century.Carved and gilt wood watch holder, representing an arch, the watch aperture in the center, decorated with animals, scrolls, floral volutes and ornaments, between two turned pillars, the top part decorated with an urn of fire, surrounded by a garland of flowers, the whole mounted on a shaped base.
