French, 18th century.Carved, gilt and polychrome painted wood watch holder, representing an arch supported by four columns, the watch aperture in the center, richly decorated with floral volutes and ornaments, the upper part with an urn of fire surrounded by a garland of flowers, the whole mounted on a shaped base, underneath which is a sticker marked "6035".
