French, 18th century.Carved and polychrome painted watch holder, representing a Pierrot with his guitar, together with a young lady in front of a wall, the whole scene set in a garden, the watch aperture in the center, surrounded by rocaille bronzes, all parts richly decorated with scrolls, floral volutes and ornaments in the rococo style; underneath the base is a sticker inscribed "247".
