French, 18th century.Carved and gilt wood watch holder, representing Cronos, the mythological figure of time, with a sand-glass in his hand, his arm lying on a book, a large drapery with a bouquet of flowers on the top, all parts richly decorated with scrolls, floral volutes and ornaments in the rococo style; underneath the base is a sticker inscribed "6726".
