French, 18th century.Carved wood watch holder, representing a couple with a little girl holding a cup in her hands, all of them in late eighteenth century dress, the watch aperture in a stele, surrounded by drapery, together with the moon and the sun. Several parts decorated with scrolls, the whole mounted on a shaped base.
