H.R. Ekegren Copenhagen, made for J. E. Caldwell & Co., Philadelphia, circa 1910. Good 18-carat pink gold minute repeating watch with split second chronograph and 60 minute instantaneous recorder.

Four body massive "bassine" polished case. Gold cuvette engine-turned on the edge. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary seconds and minute register marked in red. Blued steel "spade" hands. Fine 18' gilt brass movement, 32 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Visible chronograph work with split second push-piece and a locking bolt on the band. In very good condition. Diam.: 51 mm.
