Tiffany & Co., Swiss, No. 80456, circa 1910. Very fine and unusual 18-carat gold and enamel dress watch in the Charles X style.

Four body massive "bassine pincée" case, enamelled overall with "champlevé" painted flowers over a black background, simulating a cloisonné work. Gold cuvette en-graved with a coat of arms. Silver engine turned dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold "Breguet" hands. Unusual keyless 16' nickel movement, Ekegren caliber (U.S. Pat 26 V 03) after Lepine, with free standing barrel, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. In very good condition. Diam. 46 mm.
