Thomas Earnshaw Invenit et fecit, No. 580-3023, bearing the London Hall Marks for 1801-1802. Very fine 18-carat gold pair cased pocket chronometer.

Double body massive polished outer and inner cases. White enamel dial with radial Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Gold "Breguet" hands. Brass full plate move-ment "in grey" with cylindrical pillars, fusee with a maintaining power, Earnshaw typical spring detent escapement with plain three armed steel balance, diamond endstone and " shugar tong" compensation. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
